The Haply sensor is an advanced device capable of controlling the ReBeL robot. It captures the user’s movements and translates them to the ReBeL. In addition, the Haply sensor provides a force feedback function. This feature allows the user to feel a physical response from the ReBeL, leading to a more interactive and realistic user experience.
The integration of the Haply sensor and the ReBeL robot is done through an iRC application. The iRC application serves as a bridge between the sensor and the robot, enabling seamless communication between the two. The communication is carried out via the CRI interface, a standardized communication protocol developed for interaction between various robotic components. This ensures that the commands sent by the Haply sensor are correctly interpreted and executed by the ReBeL robot.
